The Coalition for the Paperless Office
The Paperless Project is a grassroots coalition of companies focused on transforming the way organizations work with paper and electronic content. The coalition looks to educate the public regrading the paperless office - how to automate, integrate and utilize the document and content imaging technologies available within the marketplace to reduce paper consumption.
The Paperless Project is an initiative sponsored by Square 9 Softworks, a manufacturer of document management and imaging software. InfiNet Business Systems, the systems integrator division of Square 9, in conjunction with contracted vendors such as Microsoft, Kofax, Xerox DocuShare, Informative Graphics, Paradatec have aligned to create The Paperless Project.
“Contributing companies have a vested interest to expose to the public, technologies now available to reduce or negate paper-based processes. Businesses just have no clue that some of these robust solutions are out there, so we decided to get back to basics with an initiative everyone understands, paper.” Brent Wesler, VP of Business Development, Square 9 Softworks

Informative Graphics Corp. (IGC) was formed in 1990 to help companies efficiently share and collaborate on documents. |
Since then, IGC has become a recognized leader in viewing and annotation technology with its popular Brava!® family of viewers. Brava is used by thousands of customers, has millions of installed seats worldwide and is integrated to top enterprise content management (ECM) companies like IBM, EMC, Open Text and Interwoven.
Responding to customer concerns and market trends, IGC has maintained a steady focus on document security, whether sharing files via email or the web. As new regulations on privacy information and information sharing have emerged—including HIPAA, the Privacy Act and Sarbanes-Oxley in the U.S. and MoReq in Europe—IGC again responded to customer needs by adding redaction to the Brava product line. Redaction allows users to share documents while completely blocking sensitive content or privacy information.
IGC believes in giving back to the community, providing regular opportunities for our staff to volunteer at local charities. IGC also holds an annual food drive and raises money and needed items each year for a local center for displaced children.
Our corporate philosophy is that we are all individuals who share this
planet, so we have a strong commitment to lowering carbon emissions.
The Paperless Project is another great way for us to join voices with
others who share our passion for “green.” Christine
