BISCOM Network Fax Servers: the all-in-one network fax solution
Faxing has long been a staple of the corporate office setting. Over the past few years the technology of faxing has greatly improved the productivity of office workers by incorporating several of the advanced capture technologies you may see today within advanced document management software.
By offering OCR, ICR, bar code recognition, image enhancement capabilities, companies now have the ability to automatically classify, extract semi or un-structured data and route faxes electronically - this has provided several advantages specific to business functions such as: sales order entry, AP/AR related functions, healthcare claims processing, manufacturing documentation, etc
With the advent of MFP (multi-function peripheral) and digital photocopiers companies can leverage these machines for distributed capture, allowing the fax server to act as a remote capture point into your document management systems. Now geographically distributed offices and workers can continue to collaborate, communicate and retrieve critical documents from the central SmartSearch repository
BISCOM can automate fax routing to your desktop, integrate fax delivery through your email or provide bi-directional flow of faxed documents directly to your Content Management solution.
